And the posting continues........ :)
Day 3!!
These 2 got pretty carsick on the bumpy car rides so they sat in the front :)
At the end of our day teaching and doing clinic work, we went to the river to cool off. It was so hot and humid there!!
Honduras' rainy season was just about to start so a lot was brown, but this was still very pretty, despite the lack of rain!
My camera couldn't capture the beautiful sunset.... but this gives you an idea!!
Anayi would often come outside when we had free time and were kicking a soccer ball or playing volleyball. I think she liked sports :)
Last day of teaching in the schools. One of our best translators, Teresa, was helping hand out the handouts that went along with the devotional. We also handed out supplies like toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. It was a big group, but a lot of fun. After our lessons, we did a head-to-toe assessment on all of them.
Coloring the devo handouts.
"You need to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds" Sharon did a great job with her lesson :)
This girl looked like Anna, my niece!! It was so bizarre!
We also had the opportunity to help build a pila, like a big wash tub for clothes. You store water in the middle section and the 2 sides are where you scrub your clothes.
As always, I'm taking in the scenery :)
Those clouds were heavenly!
We had some fun times :) Despite the heat and humidity and the long car rides, God gave us joy. It was hard NOT to be joyful :)
Well stayed tuned! I will post more later. We're one week through the trip and only one week left of pictures!!

It's neat to see more pictures. The devo lessons, coloring pages, health lessons, and physical assessments sound great! What a wonderful experience. Such a blessing!
