Fun Times

Marilyn had a good point in one of her comments on another post. There won't be much to blog about during dead week and final week. So, I decided that this would be a great time to blog about recent things I've gotten to do. This was by far the most exciting! I surprised (sort of...) Benjamin with tickets to the Blazer/Thunder game for his birthday. I say sort of because he quickly figured it out when I asked him to take off work and wouldn't tell him why. Of course he knew that the Blazers would be in town (because he just knows these things apparently), so it wasn't a complete surprise, but he still enjoyed it. And I mean, I loved that I got to go, too! Part of me wanted to be that fan of the away team that went all out and dressed crazy and acted crazy at the game, but then I decided that I didn't want to embarrass Ben since this WAS his birthday present. Apparently I couldn't even have been one of those die hard fans because I don't even have a jersey or t-shirt or anything!! I'm ashamed. I will have to take care of that soon. Unfortunately, the Blazers lost this night (I was very upset), BUT I felt better when we beat the Thunder back at the Rose Garden :)

Brandon Roy warming up! Too bad he couldn't play more than like a quarter :-/  Poor guy.

Rudy Fernandez! Wasn't his best game, but he was scrappy as always.

Gooooo Blazers! (At least we were sitting on the Blazers' side!)

Good thing we took this pre-game. Not sure if I would've looked this happy afterwards...! ;)

Bill and I went to our first Thunder game Friday night. We weren't wearing the proper attire either.

Matthew wore his trailblazer uniform (loving hand me down from cousin David) for the past 24 hours, he informed me tonight! I told him it was time to take it off and wear something else while we wash it! Haha! gotta love boys!

Hahahaha Oh Susan that is too funny! I can just see Matthew all decked out in a Portland jersey. I don't need a full blown jersey, but I definitely would like a t-shirt or something! ;)
